Concurrent Enrollment Information

Eligibility:
Students entering their junior or senior year are eligible to take concurrent enrollment classes through an accredited college or university.

Approved Institutions:
Students may enroll through any university that has a signed agreement with our district. Please check with the high school counselor to confirm if your preferred college is approved.

Important Information:

• Tuition Costs:
  The State of Oklahoma will cover tuition for up to two classes per semester, but students are responsible for all additional fees. These fees vary by institution and can be significant.

• Schedule Responsibility:
  It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that their college class schedule does not conflict with high school class times. Students may not arrive late or leave early from OHS classes to attend concurrent courses.

• Enrollment Documentation:
  After enrolling, students must:

  • Provide a copy of their concurrent schedule to Mrs. Holmes.

  • Submit a printout of their current college grades to Mrs. Nutter every Friday by noon to maintain eligibility.
