Rogers County Farm Bureau Sponsors First-Ever International Agriculture Leadership Experience for Oologah FFA

Select Oologah FFA students to gain global insights and hands-on agricultural leadership experience abroad.

June 9, 2025

Oologah, OK

Rogers County Farm Bureau is proud to sponsor the inaugural International Agriculture Leadership Experience for Oologah FFA. With a generous $10,000 donation, the Farm Bureau has helped launch this groundbreaking program designed to provide high school students with a unique, global perspective on agriculture.
Eighteen Oologah FFA students, currently enrolled in grades 10 through 12 for the upcoming school year, will participate in the program. Their journey will culminate in June 2026 with a trip to the Dominican Republic, where they will engage in a hands-on, STEM-based educational tour focused on global agriculture, environmental sustainability, and cultural exchange.
Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, students will complete classroom-based learning designed to prepare them for the international experience. Lessons will focus on global agricultural systems and provide cultural context for what they will encounter abroad.
This opportunity not only expands students' agricultural education but also strengthens their leadership skills and global awareness—skills that are increasingly important in today’s interconnected world.
